How do you screw the dimmer to the wall? The holes on either side are blocked by the
buttons. Although I've removed the suroound, the momentary rocker is still in place. But this prevents me from accessing the keyholes shown on the back.

Method 1 :
Put the screws in the wall, locate the holes then turn the whole switch to secure.
Method 2 :
Fit the backplate by screwing the screws in from the front (avoids the twisting others suggest) by taking off the rocker switches - they simply click on/off .
